Idle Handz is a community-driven pop-culture project created by me (Xellarant), a long-time geek, creator, and convention-hopper who believes everyone deserves a place where they and their interests feel understood — whether you’re deep into anime, Magic: The Gathering, cosplay, music, or you’re just curious and looking for your people, you’re the person I’m talking to.
What We Do
Idle Handz covers the fun, the weird, and the welcoming corners of geek culture — from convention recaps and behind-the-scenes insights to gameplay breakdowns/insights, occasional music moments, social guides, and personal experiences navigating fandom and social spaces.
We’re fairly new and still growing, but expect periodic blog and video content as well as highlights, guides, and bonuses for supporters.
Everything here is built around one idea: whatever you love, we want to help you
reach out and find your people.
Why This Exists
Growing up geeky can feel isolating. Going to your first con can feel overwhelming. Picking up a new hobby can feel intimidating. Idle Handz exists to make those jumps easier, more fun, and more human — and to show that you don’t need to be an expert or a natural extrovert to belong.
